T.A. (Thomas Arthur) Bisson (1900-1979) was an Asia Specialist with the as well as University teacher. He was born in New York, New York. He received a B.A. (1923) in history from and an M.A. (1924) in the teaching of history from the . He also taught at the , at in Oxford Ohio, where he developed a program in International Studies, and at Renison College (1970-1973). He died in 1979. His can be found at University of Maine Library
