Fees, scholarships and financial aid

Tuition is the fee you pay for your instruction. You will pay tuition for each 4-month academic term in which you are enrolled. Typically a full school year consists of two 4-month academic terms.

°Õ³ó±ðÌýtuition amountsÌýprovided are based on a full year’s (two academic terms) tuition fees.

Other costs

Total costs per year will vary depending on the books required for your courses, supplies, transportation, entertainment and other activities outside the classroom.

Financial Aid

Once you’ve determined your approximateÌýtuition and other costs, you may find that you have some additional financial need.

In addition toÌýscholarshipsÌý(awarded based on academic achievement) there are other forms ofÌýfinancial aidÌýavailable. °Õ³ó±ðÌýÌý(OSAP) is available to Ontario residents.ÌýIf you have been accepted to Social Development Studies, be sure to select Honours Arts as your program of study on the OSAP form.Ìý(There is not an option for SDS specifically.)Ìý

Renison students are also eligible for the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵÌýentrance bursaries.

Renison Student Scholarships and Awards

At Renison we offer funding exclusively for our students and residents. In addition to entrance scholarships, we have merit-based awards and funding you can apply to receive.

ÌýOSAP applicants/recipients:

  • The Office of Student Awards and Financial Aid (SAFA) reports award income to your OSAP application unless you have already done so. As a result, award funding may affect your assessment.

Out-of-province student loan applicants/recipients:

  • It is your responsibility to report awards on your application. As a result, award funding may affect your assessment.

Entrance Scholarships Criteria

If you are applying to post-secondary education for the first time when you apply to Renison, you will be automatically considered for an entrance scholarship.ÌýSome conditions apply (see below).

We'll use yourÌýadmission averageÌýto determine which scholarship you receive.

Conditions

  • Students must be entering full-time studies at Renison University College.
  • Students must accept their offer to a Renison program by the date on your offer.
