The University of ��ݮ��Ƶ School of Pharmacy and University of Toronto Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy have gone head-to-head at the annual Soccer Cup since 2015, an event fully organized and led by the students. ��ݮ��Ƶ Pharmacy’s team held a 1-0 lead for the majority of the game and took home the trophy for the fourth year in a row in penalty shootouts.

“The Ontario Pharmacists Association (OPA) Cup game against the University of Toronto is always a highly anticipated event by students,” says Viktoria Cubelic says, society of pharmacy students (SOPhS) athletic rep. “There's definitely a little bit of a friendly rivalry but there's always that sense of comradery in the background, and it's a really exciting way to bring both schools together."

The teams headed over to University of ��ݮ��Ƶ’s Grad House to celebrate together with student that came to support their peers and cheer them on.

This year ��ݮ��Ƶ’s roster included 24 pharmacy students. Congratulations to all the members of the soccer team!

“The SOPhS athletics council would like to thank all of the players, fans and anyone involved in the planning and execution of this year’s OPA Cup, as well as OPA for your support of this student initiative. We’re excited to run it back next year and hopefully key the win streak going,” says Cubelic.
