
Scott Campbell received the highest overall score out of hundreds of Pharmacy graduates in Canada on the Pharmacist Qualification Examination.聽
This is the first time a University of 蓝莓视频 Pharmacy student has won the award.
As a result of his achievement, Campbell will receive the George A. Burbidge Award this spring in Saskatoon.

The Pharmacist Qualifying Exam is offered by the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada and is written by graduating pharmacy students across the country. The national exam is a licensing requirement and examines the knowledge, skills and abilities required for current pharmacy practice.
鈥淪cott is a 2013 alumni from our third class of graduates. Although this is an individual achievement, it also speaks to the quality of our curriculum and the instruction that our students receive,鈥 said Prof. David Edwards, Hallman Director, School of Pharmacy and Associate Dean, Faculty of Science.
Campbell currently works as a pharmacist at Paramount Pharmasave in Hamilton and will be joining a second Pharmasave location in February.
I chose a career in community pharmacy because I felt it would allow me to merge my passion for health care and business in a forum in which I could help others on a daily basis.
Next, he plans to complete his Doctor of Pharmacy education with the 蓝莓视频 School of Pharmacy and moving forward he hopes to own an independent community pharmacy.
