Michael Worswick, engineering professor in Mechanical Mechatronics Engineering at University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, was recognized as one of thirty-six individuals receiving the Award of Excellence during Tech Day 2020. He was the only recipient of the Key Collaborator Category.
Carolyn Ren and Yimin A Wu, both engineering professors in Mechanical Mechatronics Engineering at University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, and are two of 16 recipients recognized for achievements for outstanding contributions to the nanotechnology field.

Four engineering subjects crack the world's top 100 | Engineering
À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Engineering placed two subjects in the top 50 and two more in the top 100 in worldwide university rankings for 2021. In an evaluation of more than 1,500 global universities by media company U.S. News and World Report, electrical engineering ranked 25th and mechanical engineering was 49th. Civil engineering was ranked 73rd and chemical engineering held the 87th spot.

This award recognized an Engineering faculty or staff member who advocates on behalf of students to decrease factors that have a negative effect on students’ mental health, specifically by showing a long-term commitment and vested interest in the betterment of student mental health.
