Professor Mike Worswick, co-Director of the Forming and Crash Lab, has received the Auto/Steel Partnership (A/SP) Award of Excellence in the Key Collaborator Category, recognizing the Lab’s extensive collaborative research with A/SP.
The Distinguished Professor Emeritus/Emerita designation is made to faculty members who have had a distinguished record of service in teaching and research in the University. The honorary award is granted upon, or shortly after, retirement.
Dr. Jacqueline Noder recently completed a PhD in mechanical and mechatronics engineering. She previously did a master’s in engineering at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ.
Noder’s research focuses on formability characterization and prediction with through-thickness strain and stress gradients. Her research interests extend to the practical application of sheet metal forming and machining.
