The Faculty of Mathematics recognizes two graduate students for their outstanding research papers. Dan Ursu, a PhD student in the Department of Pure Mathematics and Simeon Krastnikov, a recent master studentÌýof the Cheriton School of Computer Science, have been announced as the individual winners of the 2021 Huawei Prizes for Best Research Paper by a Mathematics Graduate Student. This award comes with a prize of $4,000 and is presented to recognize exceptional papers that present original results and lasting impacts.Ìý
