Join ݮƵ’s Faculty of Mathematics on Friday, Jan. 25, as we build a larger-than-life 3D projection of a 4D polytope model

This mathematical artifact, called an omnitruncated dodecaplex, will be built by student volunteers.
The “barn raising” of the omnitruncated dodecaplex is an opportunity for students to learn in a hands-on manner about geometry. Upon completion, the piece of art, which will weigh three kilograms and have a diameter of three metres, will proudly hang in the Mathematics 3 atrium.
