This week marks a University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Library (Library) milestone: the (WDL), an online repository used for sharing select items from Special Collections & Archives (SCA) and the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Archives (UWA), is officially five years old![1]

As COVID-19 and the closure of the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ campus continues to impact how Special Collections & Archives (SCA) staff interact with on- and off-campus researchers, the SCA team has gotten creative about how it delivers reference and research services. Just over two years ago I started in a newly created position as Digital Archivist. It took some time to figure out where my expertise would be best directed, but one task that was clear from the start was that Special Collections & Archives needed a way to selectively share our digitized primary resources.

Readers, I’m delighted to share that we have a solution to that problem and its name is the (WDL).
