Extending Einstein

Researchers at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ and the University of Calgary have carried out an experiment, using the quantum properties of three particles of light, that could provide new insights into the philosophical arguments by Einstein about the foundations of quantum mechanics.

The Mike & Ophelia Lazaridis Quantum-Nano Centre, the state-of-the-art new headquarters of IQC, officially opened Sept. 21 during a ceremony attended by more than 1,000 guests.
