The Department of Fine Arts is pleased to present the final 2021 thesis exhibition by Master of Fine Arts (MFA) candidates from the graduate program in Fine Arts at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, forms of relief by Sara Pearson. 

Fine Arts Alumna Yasmeen Nematt Alla's work Not Traumatic Enough for a Shock BlanketÌý¾±²õ currently on exhibit at Grebel Gallery.  The work is based around the question, “Where do we go to talk about our everyday traumatic experiences that we do not believe are worthy of sharing?"

Society of Fine Arts (SoFA) is a student-run organization that represents and builds the community of students of Fine Arts: Studio Practice and Visual Culture at UÀ¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. SoFA has been an integral part of our community.

The Department of Fine Arts and UWAG (University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Art Gallery) present the third thesis exhibitions by Master of Fine Arts (MFA) candidates from the graduate program in Fine Arts at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. MFA Thesis gives the campus and community-at-large an opportunity to see the end result of two years of intensive research and studio production by emerging visual artists.

CAKFA (Contemporary Art Forum Kitchener + Area) and Mindful Makers have positions available for students for summer 2021. 

The work of Fine Arts faculty member Cora Cluett is part of the  for the Art Gallery of Windsor.  The exhibition will run until at least October, depending on government restrictions.

Each year the Fine Arts Department recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of our students with the Annual Fine Arts Awards Day ceremony. Sadly, this year the ceremony could not take place.

However, the department would still like to publicly recognize the 2020-2021 award winners. Below is a list of the awards and recipients. Congratulations and well done.
