Academic Integrity

  • The Academic Integrity Module (AIM) is an online course that all new graduate students are required to take throughÌýÀ¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ LEARN. Students must read the information about academic integrity and then receive a mark of at least 75% on an online quiz.ÌýThe quiz must be successfully completed within the first 8 weeks of the term.Ìý

Tuition

Registration

You must satisfyÌýall of your admission requirements before you can register. One of the common requirements will be:

  • Arrange for an official transcript, in a sealed (closed) envelope, to be sent directly from your institution to the Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs Office, Needles Hall. The official transcript must show all courses and marks, and the awarding of your Bachelor's degree (or Master’s degree for PhD students).

BecomingÌýFeesÌýArrangedÌý(paying your tuition)

You must payÌýyour feesÌýin full or use aÌýPromissory NoteÌýto pay your fees from the funding you will be receiving by theÌýFees Arranged deadline.

You will not be able to becomeÌýFees ArrangedÌýuntil you have been charged tuition. Tuition will be showing on Quest in late July.

All of your funding (TA and scholarship) will appear in Quest as Anticipated Aid.

  • Your scholarship will be automatically applied to the tuition you owe.
  • Only amounts exceeding fees will be refunded. See Finance's web site for information onÌýRefunds for Scholarships, Bursaries & Awards.
  • If you are using part of your TA to pay your tuition, you will have to complete a Promissory note to let Finance know to do that.
  • If you are not using the whole, or any part of your TA to pay tuition, then your TA payment will be directly deposited into your bank account in four equal payments on the last Friday of each month.

To view your tuition account balance, complete the following steps:

  • ±ô´Ç²µ¾±²ÔÌý³Ù´ÇÌýÌý
  • select Finances
  • select Account inquiry
  • select the term (i.e. winter, spring, fall)

Upcoming courses

  • After you have become ‘Fees Arranged’ you will beÌýable to register for your courses starting the first week of August.
  • There will be space in all classes for everyone. IfÌýyou are not able to register until September that is okay.
