Marianne becomes an Honorary Member of the University

Marianne Vandergriendt is being recognized for her exemplary service to the University of ��ݮ��Ƶ with the title of “Honorary Member of the University”. Marianne retired in August 2024 after a 43-year long career at the University of ��ݮ��Ƶ. She started as the Environmental Research Technician in the Organic Geochemistry Lab from 1981-2011 and then joined the Ecohydrology Research Group in 2011 as the Senior Lab Technician and Manager. The formal award letter states that her new title celebrates her contributions as a talented lab manager, technician, and mentor that have made a lasting impact on the University.
