A day-long celebration of World Water Day, highlighting university water research and raising awareness of local and global water issues.Ìý

The Ecohydrology Research Group at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ is embarking on a feasibility study to assess the potential for using remote sensing and/or autonomous infrared sensors to monitor the distributions of microplastics in the oceans and large lakes. Field trials will focus on the Great Lakes.

Beyond the trails and gardens,Ìý°ù²¹°ù±ðÌýis home to many research projects investigating the different habitats and species.Ìý TheÌýrareÌýResearch Forum which will showcase a variety of research projects happening onÌýour land. We will learn about the growing tall-grass prairie, predation of wasps on tree crickets, ecological restoration of meadows, and hear from many others about what their research is uncovering atÌýrare. Refreshments will be offered.
