The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences offers a broad range of programs with a focus on the general area of Environmental Geology. Research is carried out in the interpretation of geologic and hydrogeologic processes, the description and interpretation of modern and ancient geologic environments, the response of geologic and hydrogeologic systems to humanÌýinterference, and many other topics. Our areas of research are:

MSc Earth Science

Earth and Environmental Science at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ has earned an international reputation for outstanding research. Investigations focus on characterization of biogeochemical, hydrogeologic and geological systems, and the response of these systems to human interference.

MSc Earth Science (Water)

Full or part-time | On campus | Thesis-based or research projectÌý| Collaborative

°Õ³ó±ðÌýCollaborative Water Program, co-ordinated and supported by theÌýWater Institute, enables students to work with experts from various academic fields and industry. As the most interdisciplinary water graduate program in Canada, students will have the opportunity to complete their specific training in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences and work with others across 11 different academic units. Upon completing the program, students receive a specialist 'Water' designation on their degree.

PhD Earth Science
