Farvolden Lecture Series
The Farvolden Lecture Series, hosted by the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of ݮƵ, was initiated in 1996 as an annual celebration in honour of Dr. Robert N. Farvolden (photo). The Lecture Series fosters interaction and communication between the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, the alumni of the hydrogeology program and the groundwater community at large.

Mentoring and Network Session
Farvolden Day starts off in the late morning with a “speed dating” style Mentorship and Networking period for sponsors/potential employers and students to get to know one another, discuss research activities and explore potential employment opportunities. It is a great opportunity to learn about current research topics and to meet our present graduate student cohort. A light lunch will be provided to all participants.
