CPI Talks - A Public Outreach Lecture Series

CPI is pleased to announce a new public outreach lecture series titled CPI Talks. CPI Talks will feature well-known experts speaking on cybersecurity and privacy topics that concern the general public as a whole. The talks are intended for people from all walks of life, and thus will be designed so that they are accessible to members of the general public without any pre-requisite background or knowledge in cybersecurity and privacy. In our increasingly digital world, cybersecurity and privacy concerns affect everyone. Everyone is therefore welcome to attend CPI Talks. We welcome high school students and new undergraduate students. We hope the talks will inspire some of these students to pursue careers in cybersecurity and privacy.

Cybersecurity and privacy span multiple different disciplines including information technology, engineering, social sciences, and the law. We plan to feature speakers from a variety of disciplines. We hope that people who are already working in cybersecurity and privacy will also benefit from these talks allowing them to better understand and appreciate the interdisciplinary considerations involved in cybersecurity and privacy challenges.
