Change of 10 hour employment rule for graduate students

To date,theon-campusemployment of full-time graduatestudentshas been limited to 10 hours/week on average per term.The University has heard from students that there wasa strong desiretoprovidegreater flexibilityin employment hours.Thus, whileit isstillthe case that full-time students wouldtypicallynot take on on-campus employment that exceeds10hours per week on average,the10 houremployment rule” for graduate students was revised and approved by Senatein October 2021.Studentsmaynowpursue on-campus employment thatexceeds 10 hours per week on average (but does not exceed 20 hours per week, on average, in eachterm),by following procedures outlined by theirfaculties.
