Award description:
An award will be provided annually to a graduate student registered full time in the doctoral program in the School of Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Arts at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ. Selection will be based on demonstrated academic excellence (i.e. minimum cumulative average of 80%) and research potential. Depending on funds available, the SAF PhD Policy Committee will select a recipient annually in the fall term.  

Eligibility & selection criteria:

  • Graduate students registered full time in the doctoral program in the School of Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Arts.
  • Selection will be based on demonstrated academic excellence (i.e. minimum cumulative average of 80%) and research potential.
  • The award will be given in addition to any funding offered to the student at the time of admission to the doctoral program.
  • Recipient(s) will be selected, without the need for application, by the SAF PhD Policy Committee or its designate.

Value description:
Varies. The goal will be to provide an award annually in the fall term of at least $500; however, the value could be less depending on funds available.
