Award description:
The establishment of the Reinhold Shuster Graduate Scholarship in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering honours an important scholar, and teacher, the pre-eminent expert in coldÂformed steel in Canada, and will make an important and visible contribution to the education of this country's future leaders.
Scholarship(s) valued at $5,000 will be awarded annually to a full-time University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ graduate student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering who enters the Structures, Mechanics and Construction research area with preference for those doing cold-formed steel research.
Scholarship(s) will be awarded in conjunction with matching government programs such as the Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS) or the Ontario Graduate Scholarships in Science and Technology (OGSST), the National Science Engineering Research Council (NSERC) or other programs. If this is not feasible, the scholarships will be valued and awarded at $5,000 each.
