Award description:
Two awards, each valued at $5,000, will be awarded annually to doctoral students registered full-time in Year Four or beyond in the School of Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Arts, with a preference for students in Year Five. The award will be given based on demonstrated financial need as determined by À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ. To be considered, students must complete the Graduate Student Award Application found on The Centre website and submit it to Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs.

Eligibility & selection criteria:Â
- Graduate students registered full time in Year Four or beyond of the doctoral program in the School of Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Arts
- Preference will be given to students registered in Year Five
- The award may be given in addition to other funding the student may already be receiving
- Selection to be based on demonstrated financial need, as determined by UW
- Applicants should have a minimum average in their PhD program of 78%
- Candidates must complete the Graduate Student Award Application found on the GSPA website
- GSPA will select recipients normally each spring; should an eligible recipient not be found, the award will be promoted again the fall and/or winter term
