Award description:
One award valued at up to $5,000 is provided annually to full time graduate students enrolled in the Faculty of Environment at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ. Students must be conducting Cryospheric research or research in which cryosphere is a significant factor. Interested students must submit an application that can be found on theÌýFaculty of Environment websiteÌýby October 1. A recipient will be selected annually in the fall term by the Associate Dean, Graduate Studies, Faculty of Environment with consultation from the Cryosphere Science Group.

Eligibility & selection criteria:Ìý

  • Open to graduate students registered full-time in any year in the Faculty of Environment at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ.
  • Students conducting cryospheric research or research in which cryosphere is a significant factor.
  • Interested students must submit an application that can be found on theÌýFaculty of Environment websiteÌýby October 1.
  • Selection to be based on academic excellence (minimum 80% cumulative average).
  • The Associate Dean, Graduate Studies, Faculty of Environment, with consultation from the Cryosphere Science Group, will select recipients, normally in the Fall term
