Have you registered yet?

Registration to attend convocation is mandatory for grads and their guests. from May 13 - May 28, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.Ìý 

Once you register your guests, you will be automatically enroled in your convocation ceremony. If you do not have a guest, complete the Register Without Guests form during the registration period.

Prior to convocation day

Step 1: Check your eligibility

Ensure you've met all graduation requirements.

Step 2: Check your ceremony dates and times

Step 3: Reserve your gown

  • Academic gowns or culturally traditional regalia are required.ÌýFor more information, read our regalia policy.
  • Advanced gown rentals are open from February 24 - May 23, 2025 for Spring 2025 Convocation.Ìý
    • Pre-order rentals through the .ÌýDiscounts are available if you reserve your gown in advance.
  • Missed pre-ordering your gown? Arrive early and rent a gown on the day of your ceremony at Studio 1 (SLC, Rooms 1212 & 1208).Ìý

Step 4: Register for your ceremony 

Registration for convocation is mandatory.Ìý and will close on May 28, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

You are automatically registered for your convocation ceremony when you do one of the following:

  • . Eligible grads will receive email communications with instructions on reserving guest tickets.Ìý
    • If any of your guests require accessible seating, see Step 5.Ìý
  • Register Without Guests. If you are attending convocation without guests, register by completing the Register Without GuestsÌý´Ú´Ç°ù³¾.

Each eligible grad is guaranteed 2 guest tickets. If additional tickets are available, registered grads will be notified shortly after registration closes. Additional tickets are not guaranteed. Guests who do not have tickets can enjoy watching the livestream ceremony online from their personal devices.

Step 5: Accessibility needs

If you or your guests have any accessibility needs, visit the Accessibility page for more information and instructions on reserving accessible guest seating.Ìý 

Step 6: Book your studio portrait or class photo

Portrait and class photos must be arranged in advance.

Step 7: Order your diploma and/or portrait frame

Display your degree or portrait in a University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ frame.

  • Order your frame in advance online through the .
  • Pre-ordered frames can be picked up at the BMH Green on the day of your ceremony.
