He is currently the Principal Investigator on a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Insight Grant on the international law respecting the global commons. He is a Senior Fellow at the , Co-director of the BSIA/CIGI International Law Summer Institute and has served as the Director of the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ from 2011 to 2017.
Professor Craik has degrees from McGill (BA hons. – philosophy), Dalhousie Law School (LLB), Edinburgh University Law School (LLM) and the University of Toronto Law School (SJD), and was called to the bar in Ontario in 1993.
