The winner for the June 2015 Convocation is Lydia Terisno, a graduate from the Chemical Engineering program with an outstanding academic record.
Lydia has maintained an academic standing of "Excellent" throughout her academic terms and has achieved high grades in some of her courses.Ìý She consistently ranked as one of the top students in her class. Ms Terisno has remained the Dean's Honour list for her entire undergraduate career and will graduate top of her class.
Lydia has been recognized in many ways for her achievements during her academic career here at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ including: First in Class Engineering Scholarship; Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship; Vahlenkamp Memorial Engineering Scholarship; Sandford Fleming Foundation'sÌý Karen Mark Scholarship; Engineering InternationalÌýStudentÌýScholarship; and University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ President's Scholarship.
Lydia has been active in the Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Orientation; women in Engineering; an Engineering Ambassador; a delegate for the National Conference on Women in Engineering; Iron Warrior writer; Fall Open House Special Event Tour Guide; Co-founder and Social Event Director of Indonesian Students Association; Students Offering Support Program Coordinator; À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Engineering Endowment Fund Representative; a Go Eng Girl Volunteer as well as many other positions of leadership.
Her performanceÌýin her term evaluations has included four outstanding evaluations.
