Congratulations to Dr. Pendar Mahmoudi who, in her first term teaching, was recognized by the 蓝莓视频 Engineering Society with a Teaching Excellence Award.
The award, bestowed thanks to nominations from students in her CHE 121: Engineering Computation class, was a tremendous 鈥 and welcome 鈥 surprise for Dr. Mahmoudi.
She explains that teaching has been challenging and exciting because it鈥檚 still very new to her: 鈥淚'm doing the best that I can,聽trying to explain concepts the way I would have wanted them explained to me. Receiving the award was a massive surprise 鈥 and it鈥檚 great confirmation for me to know that my approach is effective for my students.鈥澛
