Public Safety Canada (PSC)Ìýwill be on campus on March 13 to deliver the Safeguarding ScienceÌýWorkshop for faculty and staff who are involved inÌýresearch using biological, chemical, radiological, or nuclear materials or technology.

The workshop supports the Government of Canada’s counter-proliferation activities andÌýincreases security awareness on preventing potential exploitation of scientific and engineering research. The session will explore the risk of accidental or deliberate misuse or weaponization of human pathogens/toxins, nuclear substances, advanced research, materials, and dual-use technology.

Light refreshments will be provided and registration is required.
