Hajr Hameed (she/her) is a PhD Candidate in the department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences, specializing in neuroscience. She has been a teaching assistant for a variety of undergraduate kinesiology and neuroscience classes. Her research focuses on identifying biomarkers in early stages of neurodegenerative disorders like Parkinson’s disease.
Hajr completed the Fundamentals of University Teaching program in 2023 and is currently working towards the Certificate in University Teaching program. She is passionate about enhancing learning in higher education through creative teaching methods that encourage deeper student learning.
