Overall participation in CTE's programs and services

Individuals from across campus andÌý²ú±ð²â´Ç²Ô»å participated in consultations, workshops, and the Teaching and Learning conference with CTE in the 2022-2023 fiscal year.

Programming

CTE programming includes workshops designed for instructors and workshops designed specifically for graduate students.

614 people attended 138 workshops (total participation = 1622 workshop completions)
168 graduate students completed a CTE certificate program 140 graduate students completed the Fundamentals of University Teaching 28 PhD students completed the Certificate in University Teaching

Teaching and learning conference

The University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ's 14th annual Teaching and Learning Conference focused on the theme of this year.

484 people attended the Teaching and Learning Conference 401 attendees from the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ 83 external attendees spanning 5 countries and 35 institutions 9 pre-conference workshops, 65 sessions, 7 posters, and 9 showcases

Custom support and services

CTE tailors its support to the needs of instructors, based on needs assessment surveys, feedback, consultation requests, and the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ's strategic plan.

Contributions by CTE staff

Our staff members are recognized, at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and by other Canadian teaching centres, as leaders in educational development. We are frequently called upon to join groups and committees at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and beyond, serve as editorial board members, and present research and best practices at conferences.
