Tutoring

Free drop-in tutoring is available for a number of programs and courses, including Math, Computer Science, Accounting, and Engineering. Students can also use the Tutor Connect tool by the Student Success Office to connect with current À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ student tutors.

Encourage students to book an appointment with a Peer Success Coach to develop their study strategies, time management, note taking, reading skills, test preparation, etc.

The Writing and Communication Centre (WCC)

Students who need support with their writing can use the Writing and Communication Centre (WCC). The WCC teaches skills and strategies to review and edit written work. They can assist students at any stage of the writing process, including understanding assignment expectations, organizing ideas, grammar, writing structure, integrating evidence and citing appropriately.

Students can connect with the Writing and Communication Centre by: 

  • Booking an appointmentÌý´Ç°ùÌýattending a drop-in session with instructors that are experts in communicating in all disciplines 
  • Using WCC online resources for a broad range of topics related to writing and communication, including organization, style, citing, and polishing your work
  • Signing up for online workshops on topics such as grammar, STEM writing, paraphrasing and summarizing, and design and deliveryÂ
