ECC provides an online space for undergraduate and graduate English Language Learners (ELL) to practice conversational English with friendly staff and students. Our ECC program offers students a place to make new friends and reconnect with old ones. Our facilitators create an welcoming environment to share resources for newcomers to Canada and the UÀ¶Ý®ÊÓƵ community, and they encourage and embrace intercultural discussions.
The ECC program is a dedicated space for open discussions about Canada, Canadians and the international community, with unique scenario-based activities to practice your everyday spoken English. ECC meets twice per week for an hour, in a 6-week period. Sessions are led virtually by two full-time staff members.Â
The Winter 2022 ECC program begins on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 and ends on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. ECC meets on Tuesdays from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm and Wednesdays from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Microsoft Teams.
