Geothermal Energy: Advances, Opportunities, and Challenges

This 1.5-day hybrid workshop at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ will explore advances, opportunities, and challenges in geothermal energy development. The workshop focuses on the development and use of geothermal technologies in Canada to provide clean, reliable, and affordable energy. Researchers, policymakers, industry representatives, and community stakeholders from Canada and beyond are invited to participate in person or online.

Location: Federation Hall, University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ, Ontario, Canada.

Student Posters

Poster Presentations

Participants will have the opportunity to present their posters in Columbia Rooms A and B at the back of Federation Hall during the workshop. All are welcome to submit their work along with a short abstract to be posted online and in printed materials. Participants must submit their abstracts to Ms. Sana Sadiq at s5sadiq@uwaterloo.ca.

There is no charge for this workshop: Costs have been generously supported by the À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Institute for Sustainable Energy (WISE: /waterloo-institute-sustainable-energy). Presentations will be recorded and posted on the WISE website. ÌýÌý
