The eighth annual UN World Water Day in À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ is on March 22, 2017.ÌýThis year's theme is wastewater, and the campaignÌý‘?’Ìýis about reducing and reusing wastewater.Ìý

Co-hosted by the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ and Wilfrid Laurier University, thisÌýevent is a celebration of water which showcases water research at both universities. This year it will be hosted at WilfridÌýLaurier.Ìý

World Water Day Schedule of Events

9:00 a.m.Ìý–Ìýregistration ²ú±ð²µ¾±²Ô²õÌý

9:30 - 10:20 a.m. –Ìýopening remarks with a special announcement from the Water Institute about a new partnership that's going to bring exciting opportunities to University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ students

10:30 - 11:20 a.m. – Ìýkeynote speaker Ìýpresenting, "Wild Waters: Advocating for wilderness waterways through adventure"

11:20 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. –Ìý presentations

12:00 p.m. – Ìýlunch (available to those who Ìýfor World Water Day)

1:00-2:20 p.m. – Ìýpanel discussion, "Achievements, challenges, and opportunities in Canada's wastewater system"

2:30 - 4:00 pm. – Ìýresearch poster presentations and judgingÌý
