The spring Stanford Fleming Foundation (SFF) Debate competition will be held on Thursday, July 29th starting at 5:30 p.m. (E.T.).  The competition will be held online using MS Teams.  All engineering students are eligible to participate. Engineering students are invited to register in teams of two.  A team can consist of students from two different engineering disciplines if desired.  No previous debating experience is necessary. Members of the winning team will receive $200 each and will be invited to represent the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ at the Ontario Engineering Competition in January 2022 to be hosted by The University of Toronto.  Members of the 2nd place team will receive $100 each and will be invited to represent the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ at the Ontario Engineering Competition if the winning team is unable to compete.

Please note that the competition will be limited to no more than 8 teams, so teams are encouraged to register early. Competitors will be provided with additional information on the competition format prior to the event.
