Angelico Obille (he/they) is currently conducting their research at the University of Toronto Institute of Biomedical Engineering. He studies the mechanisms of wet adhesion in freshwater mussels to develop better medical adhesives. Throughout their scientific journey, Angelico learned that "Nature is the World's Best Engineer" and that environments benefit from diversity. In this hour, Angelico will share his story about how leading with unapologetic authenticity lead him to scientific excellence.
