Henriëtta van Niekerk was awarded the E-Launch Award from À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ's Enterprise Co-op (E Co-op) program. The $5,000 award is designed to help turn bold ideas into thriving businesses.
van Niekrerk has been building her venture, Skrimp.ai, as part of the E Co-op program, while completing the work term requirements of her Global Business and Digital Arts degree.
"The program is everything entrepreneurship education should be— hands-on, market-focused, and real" posted van Niekerk on LinkedIn. She commented to her business professor, Tabatha Dominguez at Stratford that "...those difficult business courses, they seem to be coming in handy now."
