Meet the spring 2025 Enterprise Co-op pitch winners

Monday, June 23, 2025

Students announced as winners of the spring 2025 term Enterprise Co-op pitch competition

Each term, students in the Enterprise Co-op (E Co-op) program have the opportunity to pitch their ventures and compete for startup funding during the program’s early weeks.

This spring, students vied for two $5,000 awards: the E-Launch Award and the Norman Esch Enterprise Co-op Award, designed to help turn bold ideas into thriving businesses.

E Co-op gives undergraduate students the chance to build their own ventures while earning a co-op credit. With guidance from experienced faculty members and access to entrepreneurship resources, students gain hands-on experience in identifying market opportunities, validating ideas, and launching products or services, whether high-tech, low-tech, or no-tech.

Congratulations to our Spring 2025 award winners, and best of luck to all our E Co-op students this term!

Grima Financial Services was founded to provide affordable, unbiased, and personalized financial coaching for young Canadians. Our mission is to help individuals gain confidence in managing their finances, deepen their understanding of basic financial topics, and become comfortable openly discussing their financial well-being.

¹ó²¹³¦³Ü±ô³Ù²â:ÌýEngineering, ECE,

Hiring in hardtech is uniquely difficult — the work is physical, systems-level, and often can’t be meaningfully tested through conceptual take-homes or interviews.
BoardRoom solves this by letting companies assess engineering talent through custom, simulation-based tasks that mirror the real job. Whether it’s designing an AC-DC converter or modeling thermal constraints in a mechanical assembly, candidates are tested on the actual decisions they’d face on the job. We handle everything: simulation design, candidate scheduling, automated evaluation, and a stack-ranked report with clear performance insights. Teams get to see how candidates think, solve, and build — before they ever come on-site. This approach saves engineering time, speeds up hiring, and dramatically reduces the risk of technical mis-hires — which is more important than ever in high-stakes, fast-moving hardtech environments.
