How I get involved: I have been involved in the Black Medical Leaders of Tomorrow (University club) for just over a year and a half, first as a Junior representative, then creative director and now Vice-President. I also love getting involved on campus; I've been an Orientation Leader, You@À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ day volunteer, Spring Welcome week volunteer and Chem Lab days volunteer. During the summer, I had the opportunity to complete an NSERC in a microbiology lab on campus, and I'm still involved part-time.

Why I love my program

I have always enjoyed Biology courses and learning about the different mechanisms in the human body. This program allows me to pursue my passions in a flexible program while fulfilling most of my medical school requirements. My favourite courses thus far have been BIOL 273+373 (physiology) and BIOL 239 (genetics)!
