Career goal:Â My dream job would be in the medical industry. It has long been my interest, and I intend to go to medical school eventually.
How I get involved: I am the Marketing Executive for WUSA's OCC (Off Community Campus) club, and I also participate in the CCCare program, where I assist cancer patients in rehabilitation. Volunteering opportunities like these allowed me to make new friendships and meet a lot of incredible individuals with whom I gained amazing experiences.
Why I love my program
I love my program because it allows me to pick and choose the courses that interest me and I don't have to follow exactly the courses planned by the university for me. I decided to pursue a minor in psychology and medical physiology because the courses required for them are exactly what I'm interested in.
Why University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ?
While everyone chooses the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ for its amazing coop opportunities, I chose UW because there is a course offered called KIN 100. KIN 100 has a lab with human cadavers that you can disect and open, which really appealed to me because I am an anatomy lover and would love to have the opportunity to visit the lab soon.
