How I get involved: Science ambassador, pre-optometry club, and fitness classes!
Why I love my program
I love my program because I was someone who didn't know what I wanted to do post graduation. Originally I wanted to be a high school teacher and now I am going to try to pursue a career in optometry! Along the way I was able to look into many careers and take so many different courses to help me find out what I liked. I was also able to get required pre-requisites for teaching or optometry that also go towards my degree!
Why University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ?
I chose the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ because it was important to me to live at home during undergrad to be able to spend time with my family and save money while figuring out what I wanted to do post-grad. I also had the goal of getting into À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ because of its co-op program. Although I am not in a co-op program now, I had the option in case I switched majors.
