How I get involved: In addition to being a Team Lead for the Science Ambassadors, I am also a part of the Biology Undergraduate Society (BUGS), UW Supporting SickKids Club, Pre-Med Club, and WiSTEM. Moreover, I volunteer with AccessAbility Services as a notetaker while devoting time to my involvement with À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Science Outreach. I have also had the pleasure of being a Science Orientation Leader these past 2 years, and am currently working as a research assistant with a faculty member from the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ's School of Pharmacy.

Why I love my program

I love my program because it lets me complete the prerequisites of various professional school programs while giving me the flexibility to take other courses that I may be interested in. The electives I took in my first year were what led to my decision to pursue a minor in Psychology! Also, many of the core courses for Biomedical Sciences revolve around the topic of human and animal biology, which is the area of this discipline that I am most interested in!

Why University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ?

I chose the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ because of the school’s renowned faculty members, quality of education, and tight-knit community. The students and professors here are all very supportive and helpful, which is one of the many ways that make À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Warriors stand out!
