Currently, as a pharmacy student, I remain an active member of the MSA on campus and have also taken on the role of Co-Competitions Coordinator for the Canadian Association of Pharmacist Students and Interns (CAPSI). In addition to being a Science Ambassador, I also got the privilege of being a Pharmacy Ambassador. In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball intramurals with friends as a way to take a break from academics.

Why I love my program

Pharmacy at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ offers a comprehensive curriculum, which aligns with the expanding role of pharmacists in Ontario, such as minor ailment prescribing. The hands-on experience in our professional practice labs enhances our clinical skills and reinforces our confidence in delivering exemplary pharmaceutical care to our patients. Additionally, the inclusion of co-op experiences further enriches our education, providing real-world exposure and increasing our readiness for the ever-evolving healthcare landscape. Lastly, all our professors and academic advisors continuously support us, providing invaluable guidance and ensuring we are well-prepared for success in the pharmacy field.

Why University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ?

During my very first visit to the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, I felt a sense of positivity and encouragement from both the students and faculty. Stepping into the lecture halls and labs, I could envision myself in those spaces and it sparked my excitement for the university experience. In addition, my passion for pharmacy led me to À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ as the only university in Canada offering a co-op pharmacy program and one of just two in all of North America. I feel immensely fortunate to have completed my three years of undergraduate studies at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and am proud to continue my journey as a À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ student pursuing my dream of becoming a pharmacist!
