Career goal:Â I hope to continue my studies in chemistry in grad school and pursue a career as a Chemistry Lab Instructor!
How I get involved:Â Here at UW, I participate as a Let's Talk Science volunteer and always try to volunteer for other outreach events, such as Chem Lab Days and Physics Lab Days. In addition to volunteering, I attend as many club events as I can (Student-Prof Night is always one of my favorites)! When I have spare time, I also try to watch the yearly UW plays hosted by the Faculty of Arts.
Why I love my program
All the chemistry professors I've had demonstrate a high quality of teaching and care about their students. Everyone in the program is super nice and willing to lend a helping hand if you ask! I've also really enjoyed my co-op experiences and am happy to have the chance to see how chemistry can be applied in different industries!
