How I get involved: I am one of the Co-presidents of Hemoglobal À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. Our club aims to raise awareness and donate towards children with blood disease in Asia. I have been a teaching assistant for the first year chem lab since last year. I was a science orientation leader coordinator last year, and an events coordinator this year! I am also a volunteer at Grand River hospital :)

I chose UW because of the supportive environment. In addition, I knew that À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ as a whole is highly esteemed for its research and extracurricular activities. The location is close enough to my hometown allowing me to be able to visit home on weekends!
