Murto Hilali, a fourth-year Biotechnology and Economics student at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ has recently completed a co-op term in Singapore where he had the opportunity to work as a Computational Chemistry Research Student at QDX Technologies; a startup that is working on developing computational tools for drug discovery.

BovEco and iGEM Grand Jamboree

From October 23rd to 26th, Michael Saunders, Vice President of the Science and Business Ambassador Team (SBAT), represented the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ at the iGEM Grand Jamboree in Paris, France. The iGEM Foundation, an independent nonprofit, advances synthetic biology through education, competition, and fostering an open, collaborative community, preparing future industry leaders. 

The Quantum Horizons: Quantum Information Science (QIS) Research and Innovation for Nuclear Science Award from the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Nuclear Physics has enabled a new collaboration between researchers who develop technologies for nuclear physics, quantum information science and high-energy physics.
