June 2nd, 2025, is the last day to accept your offer and being studies in Fall (September) 2025.

and non-refundable deposit by 11:59 p.m. ET on June 10, 2025. All students who submit this application and the deposit by June 10th are guaranteed a spot in residence in first year. If you missed the First-Year Guarantee Residence Application deadline, you can apply to the Vacancy Application to be next in line for available rooms.

The course selection period runs from July 2nd to July 9th, 2025. During course selection, you are able to indicate all the courses you'd like to be enroled in for the upcoming term in Quest. We will select all of your required courses for you, but if your program has room for any electives, you will need to select them on your own during this time.

July 9th, 2025 is Science Ready Day. This is your official welcome to the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and your faculty community! Registration for Science Ready Day begins May 24th, 2025.

Fall 2025 Schedules will be available on Quest starting July 23rd, 2025. If you need to make changes, the Add/Drop Period runs from July 24th to July 29th, 2025. During this time, you will be assigned an appointment time, which is your designated window to make schedule changes. Learn how to view your appointment time for the beginning of the Add/Drop Period.

You need to be 'fees arranged' for your Fall 2025 tuition fees by August 19th, 2025. Late fees will begin on August 20th, 2025 which could result in 'Holds' on your students account. If you have questions about your tuition fees than contact the Student Centre at askthecentre@uwaterloo.ca.

First-Year Orientation runs from August 30th to September 6th, 2025. Orientation is a great opportunity to connect with peers, learn more about your program, and have fun! Questions about First-Year Orientation can be directed to orientation@uwaterloo.ca.

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, is the first day of class for Fall 2025.

September 16th, 2025 is the last day to add classes to your schedule or swap to a different section of the same class.

September 23rd, 2025, is the last day to drop classes and receive a 100% tuition refund. Beginning on September 24th. 2025, you will receive a WD on your transcript and a 50% refund for the course. You can find other important dates on the Registrar's Office webpage.
