About Me

I am currently an Assistant Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ.

I build tools to examine and inform sustainable solutions to environmental issues like clean air and climate change.  I develop integrated assessment models to assess the impacts of sustainable infrasctrure, including energy, buildings, and transportation. These models represent atmospheric processes, environmental policies, and economic impacts. My research group and I use them to explore the effect of sustainable infrastructure and climate change policy on multipollutant health and economic impacts.

I have had the privilege of working with a lot of great people. Currently, this includes my students and colleagues here at U. À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. Previously, I was a member of s research group in Engineering Systems. I was also a  affiliated with the MIT , the , and with . I was co-President of the , a , and a .

Before coming to MIT, I was a licensed professional engineer in Ontario and British Columbia. I worked at as an Air Issues Scientist, and at  as an air quality engineer. I received my Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Toronto, where I worked in the  and the .
