I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ.

Before joining À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ, I held postdoctoral fellowships at the - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; - L'Aquila, Italy; - Linz, Austria; , UK and , Germany. I received my PhD in Mathematics at  of Rome, Italy, jointly with a PhD in Applied Mathematics at the - Metz, France.

My research interests aim at developing control and optimization strategies for complex dynamics, described by ordinary or partial differential systems of evolution, with applications to engineering and life sciences. Main areas of applications range from environment and sustainability, health and energy. Examples of applications include the optimization of utility distribution over networks, heat transfer phenomena in the presence of crack and fractures, control of epidemics, robotics for environmental monitoring and precision agriculture.

I am currently a member of the Technical Committee 2.6 - Distributed Parameter Systems - of the (IFAC), and sit on the Advisory committee of the Cybersecurity and Privacy Institute (CPI) of the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ. Besides, I am a member of the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ's Water InstituteÌý(°Â±õ);Ìý³Ù³ó±ðÌýÀ¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Climate InstituteÌý(°Â°ä±õ);Ìý³Ù³ó±ð À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Institute for Sustainable Aeronautics (°Â±õ³§´¡);Ìý³Ù³ó±ð À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Data and Artificial Intelligence Institute (À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ.ai); and the À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Institute for Sustainable Energy (WISE).
