I know many of us can’t recall the name of the book “Tao Te Ching” or the Philosopher “Laozi” but almost everyone of us has heard his famous quote: “A Journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. I am a passionate computer science researcher who have started as a technology enthusiast undergrad and then went through a long way with multiple track records in different fields both in industry and academia and still believe that “I have miles to go, before I sleep.”

Along this journey, I have acquired diverse experiences, which ranges from Computing/IT (Software Development, Networking, etc.) to Telecommunications (Network Operations, Quality, Automation, etc.) and then Business (Process, Six Sigma, Management, etc.) and finally Data Science (Database, AI and Machine Learning). I like to take new challenges and embark on new ventures so that I can acquire new knowledge and by integrating them with previous insights I want to deploy them in the work in hand for better results now and for the future. In the organizations I have worked in, I always encouraged innovative ideas and inspired problem solving effectively. Eventually, that increased my confidence to learn and teach more to build a stronger generation next!

At the University of ��ݮ��Ƶ (Data Systems Group), My research area falls broadly under AI, specifically at the cross-section of Knowledge Representation and Databases. I am supervised by and . Before that, I completed my () under the supervision of from . There my research topic was data cleaning from an ontological perspective. I also have an MBA in Management and Marketing from and my undergrad degree in Computer Science and Engineering from , and my undergrad research project was on Machine Learning.
