July is a time to celebrate Canada, summer, and fun times with friends! Our Renison events are the perfect way to build summertime memories. 

The sunshine is finally out, which means it's time we enjoy the Canadian outdoors! Join us for Renison events this June. 

The Renison Academic Student Committee (RASC) is a student leadership committee comprised of undergraduate students and peer leaders at Renison who provide service-learning and student leadership opportunities to all Renison students. The committee seeks to enhance the Renison student experience through events that connect with our community and advocate for student needs while at university.

Ìý¾±²õÌýThursday, May 15. All members of the Renison and University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ community, including employees, are welcome to join us for a Moose Hide Campaign Day Walk on the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ campus.

The story of how my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) path intersects with the Inclusion Coordinator role was dramatic. During our BSW placement fair, I paid no attention to Renison’s booth, thinking it was the school’s display for the BSW program. A while after, out of my expectations, I was contacted by Renison for an interview (it turned out that my placement manager passed my resume to the Student Experience and Housing team). With some uncertainty and confusion, I attended the interview. From there, I understood how the Inclusion Coordinator role could be connected to my social work placement.

Renison values collaboration and diverse perspectives. The college intentionally recruited two placement students who could bring meaningful change and connection through their lived experiences and skill sets. I am incredibly grateful to work alongside my classmate and colleague, Summer Wu. Together, we’ve accomplished a great deal and learned so much from one another.

On Saturday, March 29, Renison’s Student Experience and Housing team celebrated its residents, dons, and peer leaders at Wind Out, an annual end-of-year celebration at Fed Hall. Students, staff, and Renison community members came together for an exciting night of awards, dancing, and good food.
